In this unit, I learn a lot different
kind of culture. I learned about the iceberg. It include three parts: formal,
informal and technical culture. Also, we learned about the culture shock.
Culture shock means when you come to a new place and new culture, local people
doing and thinking are differently from your own culture, you will feel culture
shock. On the other hand, l learn to do some projects about pop culture, like
poster and blogger. In my poster, I introduced my own culture to my classmates and
learned some different cultures form them. In the book, I read “Define
American” and “Home at List”, and did some worksheets. In this class, I had
learned something that I never knew before, like I did not know that culture has
include beliefs, behaviors, values, thoughts… I’m not really understand all of
it, but I will try to work hard on it.
